buckles, this will release the tension of the ventilation
system and improve the weight distribution (A4).
A5: ADJUSTING THE CARRIER SYSTEM
Undo the hip strap (16), the straps for adjusting weight
distribution (10) and shoulder straps (9). Put the carrier
on. Fasten the hip strap and tighten it and then pull on
the straps for adjusting weight distribution (A5). The
hip strap should be in line with the top of the hips. Pull
the shoulder straps tight and fasten the chest strap. It
is important that the length of the carrier is correctly
adjusted before you do this.
If you cannot fi nd the correct length the fi rst time, re-
peat the method until you have found a suitable length.
Please note: The baby carrier is designed so that you
can adjust it, place the child in it and put it on without
assistance. Inexperienced users ought to initially let
a second person help them with adjusting the carrier
and putting it on whilst the child is seated in it.

ADJUSTING THE SEAT HEIGHT AND SEATING
THE CHILD
Please be careful when adjusting the belts and seat
height. Before fi rst use, ensure that your child is com-
fortable and secure in the carrier and that all the buck-
les are correctly fastened.
B1: BEFORE USE: ADJUSTING THE CARRIER
Loosen the side straps (4), the child safety belt (2) and
the straps for adjusting the seat height (12) and unfas-
ten the buckle of the safety strap. Fold out the standing
base until it locks in place (B1). Stand the carrier on the
ground with the front facing you.
B2: ADJUSTING THE SEAT HEIGHT AND
SEATING THE CHILD
Once you have adjusted the carrier, sit the child in the
carrier. The child's seat height can be adjusted using
the straps provided for this (12). Before sitting the child
in the carrier, it is best to have fi rst set the height by
eye (B2). If the weight of the child is nearing the ma-
ximum permitted weight (14kg), it is recommended
