The installation must comply with the provisions set out by the following
European Directives: 89/336/CEE, 73/23/EEC, 98/37/EEC and subsequent
amendments.
Disconnect the electrical power supply before carrying out any work on
the installation. Also disconnect any buffer batteries, if fitted.
Fit an omnipolar or magnetothermal switch on the mains power supply,
having a contact opening distance equal to or greater than 3mm.
Check that a differential switch with a 0.03A threshold is fitted just before
the power supply mains.
Check that earthing is carried out correctly: connect all metal parts for
closure (doors, gates etc.) and all system components provided with an
earth terminal.
Fit all the safety devices (photocells, electric edges etc.) which are needed
to protect the area from any danger caused by squashing, conveying and
shearing, according to and in compliance with the applicable directives
and technical standards.
Position at least one luminous signal indication device (blinker) where it
can be easily seen, and fix a Warning sign to the structure.

INSTRUCTIONS MOD. K130/EF
Electro-mechanic made up of:
E - Electric brake with release mechanism.
M - Single-phase motor 2 poles protected by a heat circuit.
R - Epicycloidal reduction unit 1/36
C - Rolling gate-opener casing.
F - Limit switch.
P - Drive pulley.
FOR THE PROPER INSTALLATION CAREFULLY OBSERVE THE
FOLLOWING POINTS:
CHOICE OF THE TYPE OF ROLLING GATE
Measure:
- the surface or weight of the gate.
- the diameter of the spring box.
- the diameter of the spring box shaft.
Decide whether the the germotor consents the perfect closing of the rolling
gate and therefore must be provided with an electric brake, then choose the
suitable model according to the table A.
N.B. For capacities major to the ones specified in the table, apply a torque
of K130 on the same spring-holding post. For electric connection, see Fig 18.
It the shaft of the rolling gate has a diameter of 42 mm. or 48 mm. instead
of the standard one of 60 ask for the special reduction half bearings "S"
(fig.1).
All the models without electric brake are prearranged for the application of
the latter, which can be supplied as optional..
PREARRANGEMENT OR THE ROLLING GATE
Before installing the rolling gate check that it smoothly slides by rolling it up
and and down manually.
If there are any problems we advise to first check the greasing of the slide
tracks R (fig. 3) and that the rolling gate be properly balanced otherwise
change the spring boxes S (fig. 3).
MOUNTING OFTHEGEARMOTOR UNIT
-
Open up the two parts of the drive pulley P (fig. 4) removing the screws V.
-
Place the gearmotor unit at the center of the spriny box shaft and fasten
lightly it to the bracket S with the screws V and the nut D (fig. 5).
-
Rotate the gearmotor unit 90° (fig. 6). Lock the bracket S and drill a hole
into the rolling gate shaft in correspon dance with slot A, then complete the
fas-tening by inserting screw V in the hole so as to totally block the rotation
of the gearmotor unit.
-
Make sure that with rolling gate closed the cursor C is to be near the limit
