You can also exert some pressure by pulling the handle
downwards so that the blades penetrate the soil further.
If the tiller gets stuck and does not advance, move the
handle from left to right until the machine frees itself.
When working in slight inclines, always position
yourself above the machine so that the machine is
always at a lower level than yourself.

8. MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE

The removal of security devices, inappropriate
maintenance or the substitution of parts by non
original parts could cause severe injuries.
Always do maintenance work with the
machine unplugged from the mains.
Unplug the machine before carrying
out any work on the machine. Read the
instruction manual before carrying out any
maintenance work.
Attention! The blades do not stop
automatically once the engine has been
stopped.
8.1. MAINTENANCE AFTER WORKING WITH THE
MACHINE
Carry out the following checks when you have finished
working to ensure that the machine works well in the
future.
8.1.1. GENERAL CHECKS
- Check the cable and ensure that the cable has
neither worn off or has been cut.
- Check that the blades are well adhered to the
transmission. Tighten if necessary.
- Check the sharpness of the blades. Sharpen or
substitute the blades when necessary. We
recommend that this is done at your nearest after
sales service.

8.1.2. CLEANING THE BLADES AND THE MACHINE

Attention! Always clean the machine after use.
Not cleaning the machine adequately could cause
damages to the machine and could make the
machine work worse in the future.
Attention! The blades are sharp and can cause
damage. Use protection gloves when cleaning the
machine.
Wherever possible, always clean the machine
immediately after use. Clean the bottom part of
the transmission and around the blades and the
protecting shield with a soft brush and a cloth with a
mixture of soap and water. Never throw water over the
machine!
To eliminate soil from the blades and transmissions
use a hard brush or a wet cloth.
Clean the ventilation windows and eliminate grass and
soil remnants.
Once the machine has been cleaned, lubricate the
blades lightly with some oil.

8.2. PERIODIC MAINTENANCE

Carry out periodic inspections on the machine to
ensure its adequate and efficient use. Once, each
season take the machine to your nearest after sales
service for a complete maintenance.
