6) With the aid of narrow-tip pliers, connect the spring (38, Fig. F2) to the
bead breaker arm (see Fig. F4).
FITTING THE BLADE
1) Remove the bolt (39, Fig. G) and the lock-nut (40, Fig. G) from the bead
breaker blade, taking care to keep the two shim washers (41, Fig. G) in
place.

2) Fit the blade on the bead breaker arm (see Fig. G) taking the greatest care
to ensure that the two shim washers are correctly positioned.

3) Fix the blade to the arm using the nut removed earlier and the lock-nut

(see Fig. G).

1) By hand, move the hexagonal arm to the limit (fully up) position, then use
the pneumatic push-button control (9 Fig. L) to lock it in this position.
2) Use a size 6 spanner to undo the screw which fixes the knob (see Fig.
G

H/1).
3) Lift the knob and turn it through 180° as shown in Fig. H/2.
4) Fit the spring onto the hexagonal post.
5) Press the spring down by hand to allow the knob to be put back onto the rod.
6) Keeping the knob lightly pressed down, fix it by fully tightening the screw removed earlier (see Fig. H/3).
7) Release the hexagonal arm.

6.4 FIXING TO THE GROUND
1- Prepare the following tools: N. 1 - Hex spanner 13; N. 1 - Electric drill; N. 1 - Concrete drill bit diam. 13 long; N. 4 - Metal expansion screw
anchors 13x50; N. 4 - M 8 x 50 anchor screws.
2- Drill four holes in the floor corresponding to the holes pre-drilled in the base. Holes should be 80 mm deep. Use the long, 13 mm concrete
drill bit.
3- Insert the expansion plugs and tighten with the 13 mm spanner.
