3. Next, set the remote unit at a place where air
circulation and sun protection is guaranteed.
Please select a rainfall-free, shady place for
measurement. The international standard height
for temperature measurements is 1.25 m (4 ft)
above the ground.
4. When batteries are nearing depletion, the symbol
[ ] is displayed on the sensor and weather
station.
Note that the effective range is vastly affected by
the construction material of nearby buildings as
well as the position of the remote unit and possibly
greatly reduced by external sources (various radio
D
stations and other sources of interference). If no
reception is possible, we recommend to try different
locations for the weather station (not included) and
remote unit. Sometimes all it takes is moving the

device by a few inches!
