type of plastic. The areas being welded must
be clean and grease-free. Heat the seam until
the plastic becomes tacky, then apply the other
surface.
WARNING: Plastic can very quickly change
from being tacky into becoming liquid. Beware
of burns from hot plastic. Do not remove molten
plastic from a burn. Run under cold water and
seek medical advice.
BENDING PLASTIC TUBE
Choose the Hook nozzle and fit over heat out-
let. Turn the gun upside down and place on its
clip stand so that it is resting on a secure bench
with the nozzle pointing upwards, see picture.
To avoid buckling or kinking the tube, fill the
tube with dry sand and seal at both ends. Heat
the tube evenly by moving from side to side and
bend to required shape.
WARNING: Protect hands from heat.
IMPORTANT: When the job is finished, push
the "POWER" button to turn the unit off and
allow the heat gun to cool down on an inflam-
mable surface.
MAINTENANCE
Procedures not specifically explained in this
manual must be performed only by a qualified
technician at a service center.
CLEANING, MAINTENANCE, AND LUBRICATION
1. Before each use, inspect the general condi-
tion of the tool. Check for loose screws, cracked
or broken parts, damaged electrical wiring, and
any other condition that may affect its safe op-
eration.
2. AFTER USE, clean external surfaces of the tool
with clean cloth.
WARNING: If the supply cord of this power
tool is damaged, it must be replaced only by a
qualified service technician.
STORAGE
The product should be stored indoors in dry
places, as this may affect its parts and operation.
You must switch off the machine before per-
forming any maintenance and / or cleaning
equipment.
TROUBLESHOOTING
HEAT GUN WILL NOT TURN ON
Power Switch set at "O". Turn power switch to
"I" or "II".
No power at outlet. Check power at outlet.
Cord not connected. Check that cord is plugged in.
