3) Keep in mind that the operator or user is

curring to other people or their property.
4) Always wear suitable clothing when using
the machine. Your dealer can provide you with
all the information on the most suitable ac
cidentprevention devices to guarantee your
safety.
5) Mow only in daylight or good artificial light.
6) Do not let the vacuum tube suck up the
electric cord. Use the cable clamp to pre
vent the extension lead from disconnecting
accidentally. Make sure it is connected to
the socket without being forced. Ne ver
touch a live electric cable if it is poor ly
insulated. If the extension lead gets da
maged during use, do not touch the ca ble
and unplug the extension lead im me dia
tely.
7) Stop the motor and unplug the machine
from the mains:
– whenever you leave the machine un
attended;
– before cleaning, checking or working
on the machine;
– if the machine starts to vibrate abnor
mally: find the cause of the vibration
imme dia tely and have it inspected at a
Spe cia li sed Centre;
– when the machine is not in use.

Motor speed should be adjusted to the type of ma-
terial to be removed:
– use the motor at low speed for lightweight ma-
terial and small bushes on the lawn;
– use the motor at average speed to move grass
and lightweight leaves on pavement or solid
ground;
– use the motor at high speed for heavier materi-
als like fresh snow or voluminous dirt.

2. USE AS A VACUUM COLLECTOR (Fig. 6)

When used as a vacuum collector, it is best to use
the motor at average/high speed.
During collection, keep the rounded end of the tu -
be a few centimetres off the ground.
The bag also works as a filter simi lar to a common
home vacuum. For this reason it is best that:
– it is always free to expand and the support strap
not tangled;
– it is not fully filled;
– collected objects that could jeopardise integrity
are promptly removed.
To empty the bag:
– switch the motor off;
– unfasten the bag from the tube and power unit;
– open the zipper (1) and empty the bag.

3. END OF OPERATIONS
When you have finished your work:
