The instrument starts the automatic calibration procedure
with a number of measurements that is proportional to the concentration found:
Example:
0.80 ppm = 80 measurements
1.10 ppm = 110 measurements
The progressively decreasing number of measurements
being carried out on the water contained in the probe will
appear on the chlorine display.
The solenoid valve will remained powered up throughout
the calibration time.
The HOLD and Cl

throughout the whole procedure.
The instrument will save the parameters calculated and
the indication SAVE PAR will appear on the display for one second.
The instrument will then exit the calibration menu, power
down the solenoid valve and reinstate the flow of water.
The operator does not need to control the panel since
calibration is fully automated. The time required for
calibration is about 15 minutes for 1 ppm of chlorine.
ONCE THE FIRST CALIBRATION HAS BEEN
COMPLETED AND THE CORRECT CHLORINE CONCENTRATION VALUE HAS BEEN
FOUND, IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT PERIODIC CALIBRATION.
NOTES:
If the indication LOW flashes on the display, this means that the instrument has found the chlorine
value present at the time of calibration insufficient for carrying out accurate calibration. It is in any
case possible to proceed, but accepting a certain margin of error ( <= 10% ).
5.2.2___PERIODIC CALIBRATION
This function can be used to improve the measurements carried
out by the instrument.
Take a sample of chlorinated water from the tap
provided for this purpose and determine the residual
free chlorine content using a DPD method.
Enter the calibration menu (See Page 8) and go to the
CL CAL function.
The indication CL will appear on the display together
with CAL and the CL2 LED will flash.
Press the
key.
LEDs will remain illuminated
