N.B.: To remove the guard from the mounting tool, cut it in a vertical direction.
8- After cleaning thoroughly with light fuel oil, LUBRICATE regularly, using a specific paste (type OKS 250):
- the ways of the tool longitudinal traverse carriage
- the ways of the tool vertical traverse carriage
WARNING!
If the machine catches fire, to put out the flames use only powder extinguishers, or CO
alternative.
If the tyre changer has to be moved to another site, proceed as follows:
1) Disconnect the tyre changer from all power sources.
2) Handle the machine as described in the "UNPACKING AND POSITIONING" section on page 36 of this manual.
3) Reconnect the tyre changer to its energy sources and check that the controls are operating correctly.
If the tyre changer is to be out of use for some time, proceed as follows:
- Disconnect the tyre changer from all power sources.
- Clean and grease the chuck and the ways of the carriages (horizontal and vertical), which might be damaged if they dried out.
- Empty the tanks which contain the operating fluids.
- Place a plastic dust cover over the whole machine.
If you decide to decommission this machine, it must be made unusable by disconnecting all power source connections.
Since the equipment is classified as special waste, it must be dismantled and its components must be disposed of in accordance with the
relevant legal requirements.
