1 Operating Elements and Connections

1.1 Front panel

1 Receiving antennas
2 Volume control for the signal at the outputs AF
OUTPUT (10 and 11)
3 Button REMOSET to set the transmitter to the trans-
mission frequency of the receiver
4 LC display
a diversity indication A or B: to indicate which of
the two antennas receives the more powerful
radio signal
b symbol "battery exhausted": will flash when the
batteries of the transmitter are almost exhausted
c indication of the channel group ( , , or )
d indication MUTE: to indicate that the receiver is
muted because it does not receive any radio sig-
nal or because the radio signal received is too
poor
e indication of the channel (16 channels per group)
f overload indication PEAK for the audio signal
received
g bar graph AF (audio frequency) for the volume of
the audio signal received
h bar graph RF (radio frequency) for the power of
the radio signal received

5 Button
for downward selection in the adjusting
modes for the channel group, the channel and the
identification number and for deactivating the lock
function in the adjusting mode for the lock function
6 Button SET to call the adjusting modes (
ter 6.1) and to confirm the adjustments
Note: When the receiver is locked, only the adjusting
mode for the lock function can be called to deactivate the
lock again (
chapter 6.1.3).

for upward selection in the adjusting
modes for the channel group, the channel and the
identification number and for activating the lock
function in the adjusting mode for the lock function
8 Power switch

1.2 Rear panel

9 Switch for level attenuation (20 dB) of the signal at
the XLR audio output (10)
10 Audio output (XLR, balanced) for connection to a
microphone input of a mixer or amplifier

11 Audio output (6.3 mm jack, balanced) for connec-
tion to a microphone input of a mixer or amplifier
12 Strain relief for the connection cable from the
power supply unit
13 Power supply jack (12 – 18 V /600 mA) for con-
nection of the power supply unit provided

2 Safety Notes

The units (receiver and power supply unit) correspond
to all required directives of the EU and are therefore
marked with
WARNING
Please observe the following items in any case:

The units are suitable for indoor use only. Protect
them against dripping water and splash water, high
air humidity and heat (admissible ambient tempera-
ture range 0 – 40 °C).
G
Do not place any vessel filled with liquid on the units,
e. g. a drinking glass.
G
Do not operate the receiver and immediately discon-
nect the power supply unit from the mains
1. if the units or the mains cable are visibly dam-
aged,
2. if a defect might have occurred after a unit was
dropped or suffered a similar accident,
3. if malfunctions occur.
In any case the units must be repaired by skilled per-
sonnel.

A damaged mains cable of the power supply unit
must be replaced by skilled personnel only.

Never pull the mains cable for disconnecting the
chap-
mains plug of the power supply unit from the socket,
always seize the plug.

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use
water or chemicals.
G
No guarantee claims for the units and no liability for
any resulting personal damage or material damage
will be accepted if the units are used for other pur-
poses than originally intended, if they are not cor-
rectly connected or operated, or if they are not
repaired in an expert way.

blue = neutral
brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with the coloured

mains voltage. Leave servicing to
skilled personnel only; inexpert han-
dling may result in electric shock.
