Following this rule will reduce the risk of electric shock,
fire, or serious injury.
Routinely make a visual inspection of the hose, purge
valve, grease coupler, and other components of the
grease gun before and during use. Worn or damaged
components can develop a high pressure leak and result
in a possible injection or other serious personal injury.
Do not bend or kink the hose as this can cause it wear
prematurely. Worn hoses may leak or burst during use.
Before each use check hose for kinks, signs of
damage from previous kinks, and weak or worn
places. If the hose is damaged, stop using the grease
gun and replace the hose immediately.
Do not attempt to pull or carry the grease gun by the
hose.
Only use grease recommended in this operator's
manual. Use of any other grease may create a hazard
or cause product damage.
To reduce the risk of injection wear gloves during
use, hold the high pressure hose by the spring guard,
and keep away from the exposed rubber portions of
the hose. In case of skin injection, seek medical attention
immediately. Do not treat as a simple cut.
Always be aware that misuse and improper handling
of grease or this tool can cause injury to yourself and
others.
