Press and hold the SCAN button until you hear a beep.

Remove the probe head from the ear canal. Once the

beep has sounded, the hourglass symbol will flash for
approx. 4 seconds and the temperature taken in the ear
will be shown on the LCD display. The hourglass symbol
disappears again with two beeps.
The device automatically switches to room temperature

mode after approx. one minute.

MEASUREMENT AT THE TEMPLE

Make sure the temples are dry, clean and free from make-up when taking the
temperature. Avoid placing the device on any scarred areas.

The device needs to be turned on first. Press ON/MEM button. Then switch

to temple measurement mode.
Press and hold the ON/MEM button and, at the same time, press the SCAN
button once. The temples symbol will appear on the LCD display
The temple measurement mode is thus activated, used for reading the
temperature at the temples.
Remove the cover from the probe head.

Touch the skin on the right or left temple with the probe

head of the thermometer.
