1 Operating Elements and Connections

1.1 Front panel

1 Level control for the monitor output BOOTH (25)
2 LED VU-meter for the master signal
3 LED POWER ON
4 Input selector switches for channels 1 to 4
5 Gain controls for adjusting the input amplification
for channels 1 to 4
6 3-way equalizers (max. +15 dB/-30 dB) for chan-
nels 1 to 4:
HIGH, MID, LOW
7 PFL switches for channels 1 to 4: for prefader
listening to the corresponding channel via head-
phones connected to the jack PHONES (17)
8 Level controls (faders) for channels 1 to 4
9 6.3 mm jack DJ MIC (bal.) at the front of the unit for
connecting a DJ microphone;
connected in parallel to the 6.3 mm jack DJ MIC
(28) at the rear panel
10 Control C.F. CURVE for continuously adjusting the
characteristic of the crossfader (13)
control at the left stop ("FLAT"):
smooth crossfading (gradual transition)
control at the right stop ("ERIC")
hard crossfading (abrupt transition)
11 Selector switch (with indicating LED) for a connect-
ed DJ microphone
switch at the left ("OFF"), indicating LED is extin-

switch in mid-position ("ON"), indicating LED lights

sound recorder; the recording level is independent
of the position of the master control (15)
27 Stereo inputs LINE (phono jacks) for channels 1 to
4 for connecting units with line level outputs (e. g.
minidisk recorder, CD player, cassette recorder)
28 6.3 mm jack DJ MIC (bal.) for connecting a DJ
microphone;

2 Safety Notes

The mixer and the supplied power supply unit corre-
spond to the directive for electromagnetic compatibility
89 / 336 / EEC. The power supply unit also corresponds
to the low voltage directive 73 / 23 / EEC.
