4.1.3 CENTRAL CONNECTION
The manufacturer provides a 150 mm diameter rigid tube for tting
to the tractor (A, Fig. 408). Connect both ends of the rigid tube to
the machinery mounted back and front with the exible tube (B, Fig.
408). Avoid creases and folds that could lead to breakage (Fig. 410).
4.1.4 SEEDER POSITION FROM THE EQUIPMENT FOR THE
SEED DISTRIBUTION
It is important to adjust the position of the planting unit correctly on
the supporting equipment when in the eld.
Positioning the seeder on the equipment is an extremely dan-
gerous phase. Proceed with extreme caution and carry out the
operation scrupulously adhering to the instructions provided.
1) Before positioning the seeder, it is important to place the
equipment in the position in which it is to operate.
2) Adjust the end stop device (A) Fig. 409 of the seed drill hitch
so that the seeding elements bar is at about 28÷31 cm from
the soil (Fig. 410) and so that it does not interfere with the
equipment back roller.
3) The machine in the correct operating position, check the length
of the seed descent pipes: while the seeder is operating, it
is important to avoid folds and bends in the pipes which can
lead to their breaking. Adapt them, if necessary, by varying the
length as shown in Figure 410.
