Start-up of the Device
• Select a suitable location for the device, such as a dry,
fl at, non-slip surface on which it is easy to operate the
machine.
• Ensure that the device is suffi ciently ventilated!
• Sensitive surfaces, such as the display, might be protected
with fi lms. Remove such fi lms.
Power Supply
1. Ensure that the voltage is the same as that indicated on
the model identifi cation plate.
2. Insert the grid plug into a properly installed three prong
socket. Connect the device with the plug connector by
inserting its plug into the DC 5 V

• Only use the supplied power adaptor for this device.
Do not use for other devices.
• Only use power adaptor with 5 V (

Operation with the built-in rechargeable battery
For operation of the device with the built-in rechargeable
battery, you must select rechargeable battery operation with
the switch in the battery compartment.
1. Open the battery compartment on the back. Possibly use
a coin.

If the device is out of use for a long period of time, charge
the battery at least once every 6 to 12 weeks. The battery
will also constantly discharge when switched off.
Charge the battery
Before you can operate the unit with the battery, you must
fi rst charge it.
• Connect the unit to the mains socket using the power
supply. The indicator lamp (11) lights up orange and the
battery is charged.
If the battery is fully charged, the indicator lamp (11) lights up
green.
Never leave the unit unattended during charging.
