ALARM
Only when an increased gas concentration is detected by the sensor for more than 30 se-
conds will the alarm delay times be activated as indicated in the table.
After these times have elapsed, the device will sound an alarm, the red LED will flash, the
sounder will give a loud acoustic signal and a connected device will be switched off.
By pressing the TEST key, only the audible warning can be silenced.
Only when the measured gas concentration falls below 40 ppm CO, the voltage at the device
socket is released again.
WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF ALARM
• Do not unplug the alarm unit
• Do not switch on any other electrical devices or appliances
• Do not ignite any open flame, turn off any open flame already lit
• Immediately open windows and doors and thoroughly ventilate the area or house. Inform
any other people in the house. Everyone must leave the house!
• Search the area or house for any points of combustion/fire. Carbon monoxide is
developed by incomplete (smoky) combustion. Important: everyone must leave the
house!
• Eliminate the cause of the escape of gas. In the event of uncertainty, contact your
energy supply expert/adviser
• In the event of persistent/repeated alarm, contact your energy supply expert/adviser or
the fire service
The date (month/year) is at the sensor for the next sensor examination.
Please send the sensor to Elektrotechnik Schabus for the work
examination.
