extreme caution to make sure that no metal
pieces, stones, bottles, cans or other foreign
objects enter the machine.
• Do not let processed material accumulate in
the discharge zone, since it can prevent proper
discharge and result in material being fed into
the unit again via the filling opening.
• Switch the machine off and unplug the mains
plug if the machine is blocked before clearing
debris from it.
• Keep the power source free of debris and other
accumulations to prevent it from being dam-
aged or a possible fire.
• Do not tilt the machine while the power source
is operating.
• If the machine is stopped for maintenance,
inspection, storage or changing accessories,
switch off the power source and disconnect the
machine from the mains and make sure that
all moving parts have stopped moving. Allow
the machine to cool down before inspections,
adjustments, etc. Maintain the machine with
care and keep it clean.
• Always allow the machine to cool down before
putting into storage.
• When performing maintenance on the shredder,
keep in mind that although the power source is
switched off by the safety device's locking func-
tion, the shredder can still be moved.
• For safety reasons, replace parts that are worn
out or damaged. Only use original spare parts
and accessories.
• Never try to bypass the safety device's locking
function.
• Switch off the machine before you attach or
remove the collection bag.
• Pull the plug out of the socket and make sure
that all moving parts have come to a complete
standstill:
- Before leaving the Vac-Blower unattended
for period;
- Before clearing any blockage;
- Before checking, cleaning or carrying out
any work.
- After contact with a foreign object.
• Take the following steps before you restart and
operate the machine:
- Inspect the machine for damage;
- Replace or repair damaged parts;
- Check for loose parts and tighten them.
• If a foreign body, or other debris, is accidentally
feed into the Vac-Blower, stop it immediately
and do not use the Vac-Blower until it has been
checked and you are sure that the entire Vac-
Blower is in a safe operating condition.
• If the leaf blower/vacuum makes unusual nois-
es or starts to vibrate, STOP the device im-
mediately and pull the plug out of the socket.
Make sure that all moving parts have come to
a complete standstill and find the cause. Re-
place or repair the damaged parts. Check the
device for loose parts and tighten them before
you restart and operate the machine. Exces-
sive vibration can damage the leaf blower/
vacuum and injure the operator.
