Operating the refrigerated container

NOTE
• The key in the key switch for temperature selection can be removed
in any position. The container continues to refrigerate.
• Before starting your refrigerated container for the first time, you
should clean it inside and outside with a damp cloth for hygienic rea-
sons (see also chapter "Cleaning and maintenance" on page 25).
8.1
Storing food items

NOTE
At a temperature setting of –18 °C: Only put food in the refrigerated
container that is already frozen at –18 °C. The refrigerated container is
not suitable for freezing food.
8.2
Energy saving tips
• Choose a well ventilated position which is protected from direct sunlight.
• Allow warm food to cool down first before placing it in the product to freeze.
• Do not open the refrigerated container more often than necessary.
• Do not leave the refrigerated container open for longer than necessary.
• Defrost the refrigerated container once a layer of ice forms.

Selecting the temperature (only TL200, TL300,
TL450, FO650 or with additional module DT-23)
➤ Turn the key switch to the required position (fig. 5, page 6).
➤ Remove the key and store in a safe place.
8.4
Switching on the refrigerated container

NOTICE! Risk of damage!
• Only put food items in the refrigerated container which may be kept
at the selected temperature.
• Ensure that your refrigerated container is well ventilated so that any
heat created can dissipate. Otherwise proper functioning cannot be
ensured. The air vents may not be covered up.
➤ Set the on/off switch (fig. 4 3, page 5) to the "I" position.
