7L Switch for GPS Hold (2J): The GPS flight support can be activated and deactivated
with the switch for GPS Hold. GPS is activated when the switch is moved upward.
GPS Hold ensures that the model is only moved when it is controlled. External
influences such as wind are compensated for. Flying without GPS Hold is only
recommended for experienced pilots.
7M Switch for Coming Home (2K): With activation of the switch for Coming Home
(switch in upward position), the model automatically returns to the starting point
(or the position at which six satellites were first found) and lands. The model
climbs or drops to a height of approximately 10-20 metres and returns to the star-
ting point. In the process, look out for any obstacles in the flight path and intervene
as necessary with controls 2A and 2B. To correct the flight path, the Coming Home
function must be deactivated. After the automatic landing, the rotors continue to
turn slowly. Switch them off as described in section 5.
7N Follow Me: Vertically pressing control 2B activates Follow Me mode (message in
the display). This means that the model maintains the same distance and elevation
in relation to the transmitter and follows its movements. Never lose eye contact
with the model and do not use the display to fly. Any movement with the controls
switches back to normal mode (brief message in the display).
BATTERY STATUS:
• The battery is empty if the model begins to lose thrust. Land in order to avoid crashing.
The charge status of the model battery is shown at the top left of the display on the
transmitter.
8 CONNECTING THE MODEL TO THE REMOTE CONTROL
When the model is delivered, it is already connected to the remote control.
To re-connect the model, proceed as follows:
1. Press and hold down the Photo button (2G) and switch on the remote control at
the same time. "Bind to Plane" will appear on the display screen.
2. Now switch on the model and position it close to the remote control.
3. You will hear a short signal sound after a few seconds to confirm connection.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE FLYING
GENERAL FLYING TIPS:
• Always place the model on a level surface. An inclined surface can, under certain
circumstances, have a negative impact on the starting behavior of the model.
• Always operate the controls slowly and with a gentle touch.
• Always maintain visual contact with the model and do not look at the transmitter!
• If the model lowers, move the thrust control slightly upward again.
• If the model climbs, move the thrust control down slightly.
• To fly along a curve, tapping the directional controller very slightly in the respective
direction often suffices.
There is a general tendency during preliminary attempts at flight to operate the
model's controls too aggressively.Always operate the controls slowly and carefully.
Never fast and fitfully.
• Beginners should first master trimming before attempting to master the thrust controller.
The model does not necessarily have to fly straight at the beginning - initially, it is
more important to maintain a constant height of approximately one meter above the
ground by repeatedly tapping the thrust control. Only then should the pilot practice
steering the model left and right.

9 DISPLAY AND STATUS LEDS
There is a series of information on the display of the transmitter:
9A Number of satellites received
by the model
9B Number of satellites received
by the transmitter
9C Current status
9D GPS coordinates
9E Discharge status of the model battery
9F Remaining video recording time
LED status
Front LED: blue
Rear LED: red
During the switch-on process: All four LEDs flash simultaneously every 1.5 seconds
Compass calibration 1: All four LEDs flash in cycles
Compass calibration 2: All four LEDs flash alternately
GPS flight: All four LEDs stay permanently lit
Coming home: Blue LEDs illuminate, red LEDs flash twice every second
Headless mode: Blue LEDs flash twice every second, red LEDs stay permanently lit
Photo: Red LEDs flash once
Video: Red LEDs flash during the video recording
10 ADVANCED SETTINGS
Switching between Flight mode 1 and 2
The term flight mode refers to the assignment of the controls:
Mode 1
Control 2A: Forward/backwards and rotation
Control 2B: Thrust and banking
10A Switching to Mode 1:
• Hold control 2A to the top left and control 2B to the top right
• Simultaneously switch the ON/OFF switch (2F) to ON (the model remains off)
• To calibrate the controls rotate 2A and 2B completely at least twice
• Then press and hold a trim button for at least two seconds
10B Switching to Mode 2:
• Hold control 2A and 2B to the top left
• Simultaneously switch the ON/OFF switch (2F) to ON (the model remains off)
• To calibrate the controls rotate 2A and 2B completely at least twice
• Then press and hold a trim button for at least two seconds
9G Discharge status of the batteries
in the transmitter
9H Current flight speed of the model
in m/s
9I Current altitude of the model
9J Horizontal distance of the model to
the transmitter in metres over ground
