CAUTION! Danger of damage if attempting to charge a faulty battery or using the
incorrect charging voltage. Before beginning charging, ensure that the battery to
be charged is fully functional and the charging voltage of the device matches the
battery voltage.
Connect mains cable to charger and plug into mains
– Charger is on standby
– Ready indicator lights up
WARNING! Danger of serious injury or damage from incorrectly connected
charging terminals. Connect charging terminals to correct poles and ensure prop-
er electrical connection to battery terminals.
If using the vehicle power supply, switch off ignition and all other devices consuming
power
Connect charger lead (red) to positive pole (+) on battery
Connect charger lead (black) to negative pole (-) on battery

CAUTION! Risk of sparks if the charging terminals are disconnected too soon.
Press the Stop/Start button to complete charging.

Disconnect the charger lead (black) from the negative pole (-) on battery
Disconnect the charger lead (red) from the positive pole (+) on battery
NOTE! Risk of damage to connection sockets and connecting plugs. Do not dis-
connect or unplug charger leads while charging.
Press the Stop/Start button while charging
– The process is interrupted
– Ready indicator flashes
Press the Stop/Start button again to continue charging
