8 Help in the case of faults

Overheating
The string inverter interrupts the power fed to the grid if its
internal temperature is too high. Beforehand, the inverter
switches the installed fan
and protected. If fan cooling is insufficient, it then switches
off. According to past experience, this may occur in an
ambient temperature of +60 °C or higher.
| T > +60 °C
The string inverter interrupts the power feed to the grid. It
switches off.
| T < +60 °C
If the ambient temperature drops back below the +60 °C
threshold and the internal temperature is also reduced
below its critical point, the inverter switches back on
automatically.
Fault current monitoring
The fault current monitoring system automatically switches
the inverter off when a fault arises. Once the fault is rectified,
the inverter automatically switches on again after 4 minutes.

Messages on the LED indicators
The Fault LED indicator may light up or flash quickly or
slowly.
| The Fault LED indicator is lit
Inverter detects a probable irreversible fault and switches
off.
| The Fault LED indicator flashes slowly
The LED flashes evenly (250 ms on and 250 ms off)
Inverter probably detects a reversible, temporary fault and
switches off temporarily. It normally switches back on
automatically once the fault has been cleared.
| The Fault LED indicator flashes quickly
The LED lights up briefly (80 ms) and then remains off for a
longer interval (1920 ms)
The inverter detects a reduction in output, for instance,
due to the temperature being too high.
2)
Inverters with a 3 kW output have no fan.
