Only use watery spraying agents!
VI Never direct the spray jet at persons or animals!
VII Do not fill in burning or explosive substances like
oil, patrol or diluting agents!

Installation

A
Put both straps together and thread them through the
opening in the handle of the unit. Fasten the straps
individually with the strap buttons.
B
Pull the two ends of the straps through the receivers in
the tank base and fasten individually with the strap
buttons.
C
The straps are adjusted after the unit has been shoul-
dered by pulling the draw cords. Pulling the adjusters
allows the straps to be extended.
D
Loosen the locking nut from the pump housing and
put it over the hose. Push the hose completely onto
the connecting spout at the pump housing and screw
it tight to the locking nut.
E
Loosen the locking not from the trigger control valve
and put it onto the hose assembly. Push the hose
completely onto the connecting spout at the trigger
control valve and screw it tight to the locking nut.
Screw the spray lance to the trigger control valve.
If necessary, attach the extension.

Initial operation

Please check at least at the beginning of every spray-
ing season whether the output of the sprayer (l/min)
still corresponds with the indicted values! Observe the
advice of the manufacturer of the spraying agent!
Remove the tank lid and fill up the unit with the
filler funnel.
Warning!
Do not exceed the maximum filling level (see the
Technical Data). Follow any points concerning safety
regulations and permitted substances. Check the fill-
ing level: push a stick into the filler opening and
down to the bottom of the container. Mark the upper
edge of the filler funnel on the stick, take the stick
out of the container and hold it against the litre scale.
Ensure when doing this that the marking on the stick
lines up with the upper edge of the filler funnel. The
liquid level shown on the stick can then be read off
against the litre scale. Follow the details given by the
manufacturer of the spraying substance!
At the time of manufacture of this unit, the man-
ufacturer is not aware of any potential harm to
the materials used in this equipment by any
BBA-approved plant protective agents.
Close the tank by replacing the tank lid.
Put the spray unit on your back. Adjust the straps
to the right length.
