sim ply an XLR p lu g w it h a 1 20 Ω resistor between pins 2 and 3,
w hich is t hen p lugged int o t he XLR o ut put so ck et o f t he last dev ice in

DMX St a rt Addre ss
All DMX- co nt ro lled dev ices need a dig it a l st art address so t hat t he
co rrect dev ice respo nds to t he signals. Th is st art address is t he
channel num ber fro m w hich t he dev ice st art s to " list en" t o t he DMX
co nt ro ller. Ent er t he co rrect num ber and read it fro m t he display
lo cat ed o n t he base o f t he pro j ecto r.
Yo u can use t he sam e st art ing address fo r a w ho le gro up o f dev ices
o r ent er an indiv idua l o ne fo r every dev ice.
When all dev ices hav e t he sam e address, all t he pro j ecto rs w ill " list en" to t he co nt ro l signa l o n o ne
part icu lar channe l. In o t her wo rds: changing t he set t ings o f o ne channel w ill affect all dev ices
sim ult aneo usly . If y o u set different addresses, each dev ice w ill " list en" t o a separat e channel num ber.
Changing t he set t ings o f o ne channel w ill o nly affect t he dev ice in quest io n.
In t he case o f t he 2 -channel pro j ecto r, yo u w ill hav e to set t he st art address o f t he first pro j ecto r to 1 ,
t he seco nd pro j ecto r to 3 (1 + 2 ) , t he t hird t o 5 (3 + 2) and so o n.

• To m aint ain o pt im um perfo rm ance and m inim iz e wear, fix t ures sho uld be cleaned frequent ly . As a
general ru le, f ix t ures sho uld be cleaned at least tw ice a m o nt h. Dust build- up reduces t he light o ut put
perfo rm ance and can cause ov erheat ing. Th is can lead t o reduced lam p life and increased m echanical
w ear. Use a vacuum o r air com presso r and a so ft brush to rem o ve dust co llect ed o n ex t ernal v ent s.

• Only replace a burned f use by a fuse o f t he sam e ty pe and rat ing:
o Befo re replacing t he fuse, unp lug t he p ro j ecto r from t he m ains.
o Wedge t he fuse ho lder o n t he rear panel o ut o f it s ho using w it h a f it t ing screw driv er.
o Rem o ve t he o ld fuse and replace w it h a new o ne.
o Replace t he fuse ho lder in t he ho using .
