Setting and modifying fan speeds in absence of communication. Because of MODBUS signal loss (due to
controller malfunction or signal cable damage, for example), the fans rotate at the RPM (absolute RPM) set to
parameter PF05.
ATTENTION! If during maintenance, communication with the controller is interrupted while the fans are
powered, the fans rotate at the set speed thereby creating danger to the operator.
ATTENTION! When parameter PF05 is changed, the new value is written in the fan EEPROM. Given the
limited number of write/erase cycles of the fan EEPROM (100,000), you may need to be careful to set this value
via MODBUS; an entry at each cycle of the remote supervisor would lead to an early deterioration of the fan
EEPROM.
