Seat removal and installation

Attention:
When removing and installing the seat, make sure not to actuate any
control elements, especially of the fore/aft adjustment – increased risk
of injury!
1 Remove the seat in compliance with the instructions by the specific
vehicle manufacturer.
2 If the place of installation is not even:
Please ask the vehicle manufacturer and make sure the place of
installation is even.
3 Install the seat to the vehicle floor as specified by the vehicle
manufacturer.
Note:
Please ask the vehicle manufacturer for the torques of the fastening
screws.
3.2
Electrical connection (Figures 3.2.1 and 3.2.2, page 72)
1 Before installation, check the fuse protection of the seat and compare it
with the technical data of the vehicle.
Note:
When doing the connection to the fuse box, make sure that the fuse of
the selected electric circuit does not exceed the amperage prescribed
for the seat and the cable harness.
2 The minimum fuse protection of the seat must be 15 A.
If the fuse protection is too low, let an authorized specialist workshop
retrofit a supply wire according to the electrical data of the seat. For this
purpose, select an electric circuit which can be separated by the
ignition being switched off.
3 In order to prevent any short circuits, switch off the ignition and separate
the ground cable from the negative pole (-) of the battery before
installation.
4 Determine the positive and negative wires of the vehicle connector.
