SMART BATTERY FEATURES

AUTOMATIC FAULT DETECTION
The ELB 1200 Battery is equipped with a smart protection system allowing for
automatic disconnection of the battery in case of any excessive temperature, voltage or
current range.
NO MEMORY EFFECT
• Charging can be applied and stopped at any charge level.
• There is no negative impact on Li-Ion cells caused by partial charge and discharge
cycles.
USB SOCKET
The USB socket on the battery is dedicated to smartphones and tablet charging ONLY*
(no USB communication). To turn it on, please press the state of charge button for 3 sec
(a short press is enough if the battery is charging). Indicator light: the USB LED light will
turn on and stay on until the device is fully charged. If there is no current consumption
(device charged or disconnected) the LED indicator will turn off after a 20 sec. timeout.
*The maximum power rating is 5V max. 1 Amp.

BATTERY STATUS

When the battery is discharged, place the cover with the window on the side of the
Elinchrom logo to see a zero.
When the battery is charged, place the cover with the window on the opposite side of
the Elinchrom logo to see a line.
