Emptying the water tank (see figure on page 4)
The unit integrates a water tank for collecting condensation.
When this tank is full, the unit will emit several beeps. The unit will
automatically switch into STANDBY mode. The

You must empty the water tank in order to continue operation. To
do so, use a floor towel, a flat bowl that can collect approx. 1 liter
of water, as well as the water hose and adapter (22) provided.
1. Disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket.
2. Place the floor towel and the flat bowl underneath the water
outlet.
WARNING:
• Always disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket before cleaning!
• Make sure no water enters the openings of the unit during cleaning.
• Never immerse the appliance in water! Otherwise this might result in an electric shock or fire.
CAUTION:
• Do not spray the device with cleaning agents.
• Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items.
• Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
Filter
When using the unit daily, clean the filter every 2 weeks. If dust in
the filters blocks the air circulation, efficient operation of the unit
can no longer be guaranteed.
1. First, remove the filters located on the back of the unit side-
ways. Then remove the filters located on the side of the unit.
2. Vacuum the filters for cleaning.
3. Clean the filters under running water. If necessary, use a mild
detergent.
4. Let the filters air-dry in a shady place.
5. Reinstall the filters when completely dry.
CAUTION:
Do not operate the unit without the filter!
Housing
• Use a vacuum cleaner to vacuum the fins and ventilation
openings.
• Wipe the housing with a slightly damp cloth.
Seasonal cleaning and storage
When not using the unit for a long period of time, proceed as fol-
lows:
1. Empty the water tank as described above.
2. Operate the unit in "Fan"
mode for 2 hours in order to dry
the inside of the unit.

3. Remove the bushing from the outlet.
4. Connect the adapter to the nut and water hose.
5. Remove the rubber plug and keep it for later use.
6. Connect the water hose to the water outlet of the unit.
7. If possible, put the bowl on a lower level than the unit. Place
the end of the water hose in the bowl.
8. Remove the water hose after all the water has been drained.
