Cleaning the
appliance
To avoid electrical shock which
can cause severe personal injury
or death, disconnect power to
appliance before cleaning. After
cleaning, reconnect power.
To avoid personal injuries or
property damage, observe the
following:
Do not clean the appliance with
a steam cleaner.
Do not let the water used for
cleaning drip onto the light or
control panel.
Do not use abrasive or acidic
cleaning agents or solvents
which may damage the
surfaces of the appliance.
Never clean shelves and
containers in the dishwasher.
The parts may warp.
C3 Switch off the appliance with
the POWER button!
Pull out the mains plug or
switch off the fuse.
C3 Clean the door seat with water
only and dry thoroughly.
[3 Clean the appliance with
lukewarm water and a little
washing up liquid.
C3 Do not let the water used for
cleaning drip onto the control
panel or light.
C3 Wash and then rinse shelves
and containers in lukewarm
soapy water.
C3 Carefully remove persistent dirt
with a soft plastic brush.
C3 To prevent stains, dry shelves
and containers with a soft cloth
immediately after cleaning.
C3 Checkthe ventilation openings
on the panel.
C3 Remove dirt with a small brush.
[3 After cleaning:
Switch on the appliance with the
POWER button.

Have your dealer inform you
about special cleaning and care
information for appliance
surfaces.
Wipe appliance surfaces with
a damp cloth.
Then immediately wipe dry.
Odors

unpleasant odors:
[3 Switch off the appliance with
the POWER button!
C3 Take all food out of the
appliance.
[3 Clean the interior.
See section on "Cleaning the
appliance".
[3 Thoroughly clean all packing
containers used in the
appliance.
[3 Pack strong smelling food in
airtight containers to prevent the
build up of odors.
C3 Stack food in the appliance.
C3 Switch on the appliance with the
POWER button.
C3 After 24 hours check whether
the odors have been eliminated.
Eliminating persistent odors
C3 Switch off the appliance with the
POWER button!
[3 Take all food out of the
appliance.
C3 Remove shelves and containers.
[3 Fill the interior with wrinkled
newspaper (not magazine
paper).
C3 Place several charcoal
briquettes on the paper.
[3 Close the door and leave closed
for 1 2 days.
