1.3.1 DESCRIPTION
The «TEKNOFOLD 450» folding rotary harrow comprises a central
bearing frame (10 Fig. 1) with three-point hitch which couples
two harrow units at the sides (3 and 15 Fig. 1). These latter can
be folded upwards and closed, thus allowing the entire machine
to be transported on the roads (if is approved for road circulation
in the country of use) or down very narrow passages.
This configuration allows work to be carried out in large areas.
When the harrows are operating, the width of the implement
measures 5, 6, 7 and 8 meters, depending on the model.
The two side harrow units are lifted and folded upwards thanks
to a hydraulic control operated from the tractor.
The machine only operates when hitched to a tractor with an
adequate power rating (consult the technical specifications for
the specific power). The implement is driven by the tractor via
a driveline (with CE marking) which engages with the central
transmission unit (16 Fig. 1). Power is then transmitted to the
two side final drives (19 Fig. 1) which operate the various blade
rotors (14 Fig. 1).
1.3.2 OPERATION
The «TEKNOFOLD 450» folding rotary harrow is solely designed
for use in agriculture in order to prepare, work and break up the
soil. One single person seated in the driver's seat of the tractor
is able to carry out all the various operations.
Any other use of the machine differing from the explanations
given in this manual relieves for Manufacturer from all and
every liability for deriving damage to persons, animals or
property.

Each machine is provided with an identification plate (18 Fig. 1)
with the following data:

The data on the identification plate of the machine should be
