9. Troubleshooting
If the device is operated properly you should experience no problems with malfunctions or faults. In
the event of any malfunctions or faults, please check the following before you contact your customer
services.

Possible cause
Power failure
Is the power cable or the mains plug
damaged?
Condensation collection tray is full
Ambient temperature is outside the
operating range
Extraction hose is kinked, routed
downwards, extended, clogged
The filter is dirty, openings are
blocked by foreign objects
Minimum distances are too small
Underpressure in the room where the
equipment is being where operated
with a hole in a wall
Operating mode not set to "Cool"
The equipment is being operated with
an "ON delay"
Desired temperature set too high
Overvoltage due to lightning strikes
Equipment is stood at an angle
The plugs on the two condensation
drains are not fitted correctly or are
damaged

Remedy
Check the voltage, if necessary wait
for restart.
Have repairs carried out by a
specialized company
Empty the condensation collection
tray
Do not operate the equipment outside
the operating range
Make sure the exhaust air can escape
freely
Clean the filter, remove foreign
objects
Ensure that minimum distances are
maintained
Open the door/window to achieve
pressure equalization
Set the operating mode to "Cool"
Switch on the equipment
Reduce the desired temperature
Switch off the equipment, pull out
the mains plug, switch on again after
waiting for 5 minutes
Stand the equipment in the vertical
position and make sure that it is stood
securely
Fit the plugs correctly or replace them
if necessary
