5.4 Closing the lock

The electromagnetic lock automatically snaps into place as soon as you have fully extended
your knee joint. Once the lock is closed, the system emits the following signals, depending on
the selected profile:

5.5 Switching between response profiles
Users can choose from two response profiles depending on their environment. The Blue Profile
(normal environment) is the default profile activated with each putting into operation.
To change to the Purple Profile (quiet environment), press the direct start button at the electron-
ics for approximately 2 seconds until you perceive the following signals.
