6.11 Finishing the switch cable

Complete the following additional steps to finish the switch cable:

6.11.1 Shortening the pull cable (only for 12K50)

Complete the following steps to shorten the pull cable:
1) Trim the pull cable to the desired length.
2) Tie off the end of the pull cable with the cord lock.
CAUTION
Removing the pull cable
Injuries due to loss of product functionality.
► For safety reasons, the pull cable must not be removed entirely.
12K41, 12K42, 12K44, 12K50
5) Remove the dummy and connect it again on the oth­
er side.
6) Thread the telescopic spring through on the other
side.
7) Engage the telescopic spring on the protruding
metal axle.
8) Put the ball cap back on.
9) Reinstall the ladder lock buckle.
1) Thread the switch cable through the cable lock.
2) Secure the end of the switch cable with a button.
3) Tighten the switch cable and make a loop.
