ing the lamination pattern until the blue surface of the pattern and the circu
lar mark are completely free (see arrow in Fig. 2). Do not grind deeper!
6.5 Vacuum-formed Inner Socket
Use the 13E203 Lamination Pattern for Inner Sockets to fabricate a vacuum-
formed inner socket (Fig. 1, item 2). See 646T3=3.2GB Technical Informa
tion for fabricating vacuum-formed inner sockets.
6.6 Fabrication of Outer Socket
Remove the lamination pattern for inner sockets. For this purpose, drill a 4
mm ‒ 5 mm hole in the circular mark of the lamination pattern. Remove the
lamination pattern with a screwdriver or similar tool (Fig. 3). Remove the
protective foil of the 13E204 Lamination Pattern (Fig. 1, item 3) and insert
the pattern into the electrode hole with the mark on the proximal side (see
arrow in Fig. 4). Pull 99B71 PVC Bag over the model, tie off at the vacuum
pipe, and switch vacuum on. Foam the outer socket. Trim the shaped foam.
Configure the socket lamination to the patient's activities (e.g. add reinforce
ments if necessary). After curing, remove suction pipe and plaster filling.
Burn through the holes of the lamination plates; drill and use a tap to create
threads to connect the 503F3 Socket Screws with Allen Head (Fig. 1,
item 5). Next, finish the outer socket. Burn through and drill the proximal
marks of the lamination pattern in the outer socket.

7 Preparation for Use

7.1 Connecting the Electrode

The electrode is delivered without an electrode cable. The cable must be
ordered separately and individually shortened. Suitable cables are the
13E129=* Electrode Cables. Grease the connector receptacle of the elec
trode around the pin contacts with 633F11 Silicone Grease (Fig. 5). Apply
633F11 Silicone Grease into the receptacles of the electrode cable (Fig. 6).
The grease will protect the connectors from humidity. Insert the electrode
cable with the grey side facing up into the 13E121 Plug Connector until it
reaches the stop (Fig. 7).
INFORMATION
Do not remove grease that seeps out.
Press the plug connector with inserted electrode cable as far as possible
into the electrode with tweezers or a similar tool (Fig. 8). The plug connec
tion has now been established. Remove any grease that seeps out.
