• When using braces, find out whether the usage of an oral irriga-
tor is possible. We do not assume any liability for possible dam-
ages.
• In case of diseases in the mouth and throat area, you should ask
your doctor whether the use of an oral irrigator is advisable.
• Ensure that the water tube (connection of device and oral irriga-
tor) is not stuck or kinked.

Unpacking the Device
1. Take the device out of its packaging.
2. Remove all packaging materials, such as foils, filler mate-
rial, cable brackets and cardboard packaging.
3. Check the scope of delivery.
NOTE:
There may still be some dust or production residues on
the device. We recommend that you clean the device as
described under "Cleaning".
Application instructions
Electrical connection
1. Check whether the mains voltage that you want to use
matches the one of the device. You will find the informa-
tion about it on the type plate.
2. Connect the mains cable to a properly installed ground-
ed socket.

Switch setting I:
The device is turned on
Water pressure regulator (5)
With the water pressure regulator, you can set three different
power levels.
Level I:
low water pressure
Level II:
medium water pressure
Level III:
high water pressure
Water stop switch (2)
You can use this switch to momentarily interrupt the applica-
tion. The shut-off is done mechanically. The pump of the
device will continue to be in operation.
Position I of the switch:
Water is flowing
Position 0 of the switch:
Water is stopping
Nozzles (1)
4 nozzles with different color markings are contained in the
scope of delivery. These can be assigned to different users.
When the gums are bleeding . . .
It is normal for a normal bleeding to occur when using the
oral irrigator the first few times. Should your gums bleed
continually, please consult your dentist.
Initial operation
1. Remove the water container (8) from the unit base by the
handle. Open it with the lever (9).
2. Fill the water container with water. Observe the marking
MAX. Close the water container. Set it back onto the unit
base.
3. Turn on the device with the On / Off switch (6).
4. Remove the handle (3) of the unit base. Hold the opening
above a wash basin.
5. Switch the regulator (5) to level III.
6. Unlock the water stop switch (2) by sliding it to position I.
7. Let the water run directly into the wash basin to remove
possible residues. Then lock the water stop switch by slid-
ing it to the position 0.
8. Turn off the device.
9. Briefly rinse off the nozzles under running water.
Your oralirrigator is now ready for use.
