Troubleshooting
Fault
Device does not func-
tion, LED does
not glow.
The device does not
cool (plug is inserted,
"POWER" LED is lit).
The device does not
cool (plug is inserted,
"POWER" LED flashes
orange, display is
switched off).
When operating from
the DC socket:
The ignition is on
and the device is not
working and the LED
is not lit.
Pull the plug out of the
socket and make the
following checks.
The display shows an
error message (e.g.
"Err1") and the device
does not cool.
The interior light of a
compartment flashes.

Possible cause
There is no voltage pres-
ent in the DC socket in
your vehicle.
No voltage present in the
AC voltage socket.
The device fuse is defec-
tive.
The integrated mains
adapter is defective.
Defective compressor.
Battery voltage is too
low.
Battery monitor is set too
high.
The DC socket is dirty.
This results in a poor
electrical contact.
The fuse of the DC plug
has blown.
The vehicle fuse has
blown.
The device has switched
off due to an internal
fault.
The lid of the compart-
ment has been left open
for more than five min-
utes.
Suggested remedy
The ignition must be switched on in most
vehicles to apply current to the DC socket.
Try using another plug socket.
Replace the device fuse, see chapter
"Replacing the device fuse" on page 45.

authorised repair centre.

Charge the battery as needed.
Select a lower battery monitor setting.
If the plug of your cooler becomes very
warm in the DC socket, either the DC
socket must be cleaned or the plug has
not been assembled correctly.
Replace the fuse (15 A) in the DC plug,
see chapter "Replacing the plug fuse
(DC)" on page 46.
Replace the vehicle's DC socket fuse
(usually 15 A). Please refer to your vehi-
cle's operating manual.
This can only be repaired by an
authorised repair centre.
Close the lid of the compartment.
