Training of Personnel

Only trained and instructed personnel who have read
and understood all points of the Operating Manual
may work on the product. Likewise the individual
operating states must be mastered, and the related
safe aspects must be known and they must be able
to implement them. Personnel undergoing training
may only work on the product under the supervision
of qualified personnel.

Fault Localisation, Troubleshooting

Remediation of any of the faults
described below may only be
carried out by a trained technician.
Fault
The impulse valve switches but
no lubricant is ejected

Air in the system

Possible cause
The feed pump is not supplying
lubricant
Material pressure too low
The control air pressure/
counter-pressure of the spring is
too low
Defective seals
Air pockets in the grease
container
Air pockets in the hoses
Defective seals
No constant grease and air
pressure.
Corrective action
Consult the operating manual for
the feed pump
Increase pump pressure
Increase the control air pressure
Install a stronger spring
Replace seals
Loosen supply hose. Bleed system.
Then re-tighten supply hose.
Replace seals
Upstream installation of optional
material pressure regulator MDR
