Follow correct sequence!
Wear safety goggles!
•
Disconnect the riveting tool from the compressed air supply.
•
Remove the hanger (I) from the riveting tool.
•
Remove oil screw plug with seal (G and H) and screw the supplied oil refill reservoir into
the thread.
•
Unscrew steel head sleeve (B) and push grip mechanism by hand as far as it will go into
the tool head.
•
Hang up the tool head by the handle. Make sure that there are no loops in the hydraulic
hose, with a constant incline from the air cylinder to the tool head.
•
Remove oil screw plug with seal (J and K) and screw supplied filling adapter into the
thread.
•
Fit oil can with pump mechanism (not included in scope of delivery) into the free end of
the filling adapter hose.
•
Pump hydraulic oil into the tool until the oil refill reservoir at the tool head is approximate-
ly half full.
•
Lower the tool head to the same level as the air cylinder and remove the oil refill reser-
voir. Screw in the oil screw plug together with seal (G and H) and tighten.
•
Unscrew filling adapter then screw in the oil screw plug together with seal (J and K) and
tighten.
•
Connect riveting tool to compressed air supply.
•
Carefully undo oil screw plug (G) by 2 turns; the grip mechanism moves slowly into the
front end position. Collect leaking oil in a rag.
•
Tighten oil screw plug (G).
•
Screw on steel head sleeve (B).
