The apparatuses and external line(s) are connected as in the fig. above Plug in the adapter's plug in the telephone exchange. Place the flush surround plate
over the contacts. Plug in the adapter in the 230V socket outlet. At least internal line 1 and apparatus 1 have to be connected.
In case of a power cut or in case the exchange's power supply adapter is not connected, the first internal line 'Int 1' is automatically put through galvanically
to the first external line 'Ext 1'. This apparatus can thus be used as emergency telephone.
The telephone exchange is now ready for use. If you pick up the receiver, you hear the dialing tone of the telephone exchange. If you then press 0, you hear
the dialing tone of the external line. After connecting the power supply, a training sequence (optimalization) is put on the external lines. This tests whether the
external line is engaged and if not, engages it for 2s to carry out the optimalization. For an external line that is not available in the first hour, the telephone
