Storage is provided on the tool (Fig. 1). The
wrench is fully seated when the second lock
detent is engaged.
NOTICE: The wrench must be inserted
in the correct orientation (Fig. 9).
Damage to the work piece could
occur if it is inserted incorrectly.
SAW-DUST EXTRACTION (FIG. 10)
WARNING
To extract saw dust created during cutting,
connect a suitable extraction unit with a 1-7/8"
suction hose to the dust elbow.
Make sure that the vacuum hose has freedom
to move and has enough length to complete
the cut. If needed, have another person move
the vacuum cleaner and the hose while you are
making the cut.
Before starting a cut, make sure that the airflow
through the upper guard and auxiliary handle is
unobstructed.
When not using a vacuum while cutting, the dust
elbow can be oriented away from the operator,
as show in Fig. 10.
TO ATTACH/DETACH
BATTERY PACK (FIG. 11)
To attach the battery pack:
Align the raised rib on the battery pack with
the grooves of the tool, and then slide the
battery pack onto the tool.
NOTICE: Make sure that the latch on the
battery pack snaps into place and that the
battery pack is secured to the tool before
beginning operation.
To detach the battery pack:
Depress the battery-release button to release
the battery pack. Pull the battery pack out and
remove it from the tool.
NOTICE: When placing the battery pack on
the tool, be sure that the raised rib on the
battery pack aligns with the groove inside
the tool and that the latches snap into
