IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove
the cover or back of the unit. There are no user-serviceable parts
inside.
2. WARNING: To prevent fire or electric shock hazard, do not expose
the unit to water or moisture.
3. Keep the portable DVD player away from direct sunlight and heat
sources.
4. Do not block the ventilation openings on the unit while the unit is
in operation.
5. Place the portable DVD player on a firm surface to avoid possible
damage.
6. Only use the AC adapter included with the portable DVD player.
Using any other adapter will void your warranty.
7. Unplug the power from the outlet when the unit is not in use.
8. CAUTION: The rechargeable battery is not user replaceable. Any
attempt to remove the battery will void the warranty.
9. WARNING: Excessive volume and/or usage of earphones or head-
phones can cause hearing loss.
10. WARNING: Only use attachments/accessories specifically provided
by the manufacturer.
11. WARNING: To prevent direct exposure to the laser beam which
reads the CD/DVD disc, do not open the unit while unit is playing.
12. WARNING: Never stare directly into the laser beam.
13. WARNING: When in use by children, parents should be aware of
the safety instructions.
14. WARNING: If the unit overheats, stop using the unit IMMEDIATELY
and contact customer support for repair options.
15. WARNING: Do not charge the battery when the unit is not suffi-
ciently ventilated.
16. WARNING: The manufacturer, distributor, and retailers accept no
responsibility for battery damage caused by improper use and/or
unit damage.
17. Warning: USB cables longer than 10" (250mm) should not be used
with this unit.
