Making Cappuccino

Cappuccino coffee is an espresso coffee topped with steamed milk and milk froth. (1/3
espresso, 1/3 steamed milk and 1/3 frothed milk.
Note: We recommend that you make the espresso first, then steam the milk.
1.

2.
Press the STEAM button, the green indicator gets off and the yellow indicator is on. After a while,
the green indicator is on, which indicates that the coffee machine is ready to release steam.

Pour about 100ml cold milk into a stainless steel jug.
Note: For best results we recommend to use refrigerated milk and stainless steel jug that is well
chilled.
4.
Before inserting the steam nozzle into the milk, turn the steam knob anti-clockwise to activate
the steam function in order to remove any condensed water. To do this, hold an empty glass
under the steam nozzle and turn the steam knob.
5.
Once only steam is coming out, quickly insert the steam nozzle into the milk jug. Lower the jug
so that the tip of the steam nozzle is just below the surface of the milk and place your hand on
the side of the jug.
Important: Do not allow tip of the nozzle to touch the bottom of the jug because this could
obstruct the passage of the steam.
6.
Move the frothing jug so that the steam nozzle is to one side. This will create a whirlwind motion
to the milk. As the steam heats the milk, the milk will begin to rise. Follow the level of the milk
by lowering the jug and always keeping the tip of the steam nozzle just below the surface.
7.
Cease steaming when the jug becomes too hot to continue holding the palm of your hand against
the side. Simply turn the steam knob clockwise and press the STEAM button again.
Note: Do not boil the milk.
8.
Rotate the steam knob anti-clockwise to achieve high steam pressure, making the milk frothy,
warm and fresh.
9.
