D.1 Dissembling and cleaning the clutch and pressure control assemblies.
1. Follow the steps stated in the section above.
2. Remove the seal (087) with a screwdriver.
3. Remove the safety ring (1241).
4. Remove screws (1245 and 621).
5. Dismount the cylinder cap (1236) lifting backwards.
6. If the clutch assembly has to be totally dissembled, insert the dowel pins (204) in the coupling body
(1242).
7. Before re-assembling the devices, clean all the pieces thoroughly.
D. 2 Dissembling and cleaning the clutch and pressure control assemblies.
1. Unattach the Seeger (1013) from the mounting plate (1014).
2. Remove the spring retaining washers (1018) and separate the mounting plate from the spindle assembly.
Take special care not to lose the springs (1015).
3. Secure the spindle by the cylinder (1211) to a bench vice and loosen the screw (215) .
4. Unscrew the cap (1216) with a wrench, to loosen the threaded spindle (1215). Together with the spindle,
remove the belleville springs (213), the seal (1232) the secondary plate (1235) and the screw (1246)
from the inside of the cylinder.
5. If necessary, check the condition of the screw (1246) and the belleville springs. When the screw is again
mounted, it may be necessary to add a small amount of super glue.
6. Unattach the cylinder from the bench vice and remove the rollers (236 and 237) and the primary plate
(238) by carefully tapping downwards.
7. Clean all the parts, paying special attention to the inside of the cylinder (1211).
