Installation instructions

Safety instructions

This device contains parts that could cause sparks or a
light arc!
The device must be connected to the mains power supply
in accordance with the respective valid national installation
regulations.
The 230 V electrical connection must always be made
by an expert (in accordance with VDE 0100, part 721 or
prIEC 60364-7-721, for example, in Germany).
Ensure that the power supply has been disconnected! Discon-
nect the mains plug!
Only use the supplied parts and the specified cable cross-sec-
tions to connect the device!
Only use suitable and fully functional tools.
Only wire the device as specified in the supplied wiring
diagram!
Installation
Installation in vehicles must accord with the technical and ad-
ministrative provisions of the individual country of use.
The national legislation and regulations must be observed.
Remove the equipment pack (accessories) and check it is
complete:
1 instructions for installation and use
7 wire end sleeves
4 mounting screws
The installation place must be clean, well vented and protected
against damp and wet.
Position the device close to the 230 V supply in an easily
accessible place.
Connection
Before connecting or disconnecting the cables, the
supply lines to the battery and mains supply must be
disconnected!
Strip the insulation from the input and output cable and
from the cable ends and press on the wire end sleeves.

Remove lid.
Open strain relief clips A and B.
Strip the potential equalization cable (green/yellow 4 mm²),
press on the wire end sleeves, clamp onto terminal 5 and
place in the recess of the strain relief A.
Place the input and output cable in the strain relief clips
A and B and clamp tight.
Connect the input cable to the terminals 2 and 4, the output
cable to terminals 1 and 3 and both protective conductors
to terminal 6.
Put lid on.
Attach the device with the supplied screws.
Carry out the function test of the FI-circuit breaker
(see "Function test").
