Important information before using the dial gauge
1. Dirt on the measuring spindle affects its movement. If necessary,
clean the measuring spindle with a clean cloth. Under no circumstances
should oil be used to lubricate the measuring spindle.
2. If necessary, clean the housing with a dry cloth. In case of heavy soiling,
use a neutral-reacting solvent. Do not use organic solvents (such as benzine
or thinner) under any circumstances - this will damage the device and cause
it to malfunction.
3. Protect the data input port with the appropriate cover when not in use.
4. The dial gauge must be clamped in a suitable holding device
(e.g. dial gauge stand) with locating hole 8H7.
5. Unauthorised opening of the dial gauge will result in loss of the warranty.
