PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Rest platform TAC-0140-ST (or -AL for aluminium ladders)
•
The rest platform enables the ascending person to take rest breaks.
•
When not in use, the platform is folded up and back behind the rungs.
•
To use it, the person must climb above the position of the folded-up platform and then fold it
down in order to be able to stand on it.
•
They should be attached at distances of maximum 10 m.
Safety Information
Crushing hazard when moving the platform! Do not release the platform when in motion! Pay attention to
other persons in the area around the platform! (Crushed fingers and head impacts are possible)
10.1 Installation of the rest platform
10.1.1 Installation kit

Rest platform with fixing bolts, washers and self-locking nuts
10.1.2 Tools needed for installation
•
1 Torque wrench SW 19
•
PPE
1 person is required for installation.
10.1.3 Preassembly
•
The rest platform is delivered fully assembled
10.1.4 Installation instructions
•
Do not use grease!
•
The rest platform holder is placed above a rung of the climbing protection ladder and tightened
onto the climbing protection rail in the slot above and below the rung using the supplied bolts,
washers and nuts.
•
The bolt head should be inside the climbing protection rail.
•
The rest platform must be mounted so that it folds downwards for use (so one can stand on it).
When not in use it is folded upwards.
