Operating Instructions SATAminijet 1000 K/H RP/HVLP
Installing the air piston, air piston spring and air micrometer
■ Insert and thread packing screw and air piston rod [10-7] into gun
body.
■ Attach trigger [10-6].
■ Grease air piston with air piston spring [10-5] and air micrometer [10-
4] with SATA gun grease (# 48173) and insert.
■ Press air micrometer [10-4] into gun body.
■ Screw locking screw [10-2] into gun body.
After assembly, set the material flow rate as instructed in Chapter 8.2.
9.5. Replacing the self-adjusting seal (on air side)
Replacement is necessary if air escapes underneath the trigger.
Removing the self-adjusting seal
■ Loosen counter nut [1-3].
■ Unscrew adjustment screw [1-2] with counter nut and remove from gun
body.
■ Remove spring and paint needle [10-1].
■ Unscrew locking screw [10-2] and remove from gun body.
■ Pull air micrometer [10-5] out of gun body.
■ Remove air piston [10-3] with air piston spring [10-2].
■ Remove trigger [10-6].
■ Unscrew packing screw and air piston rod [10-7] from gun body and
pull out to remove.
■ Remove spring [10-8] and self-adjusting seal [10-9] from gun body.
Installing the self-adjusting seal
■ Insert spring [10-8] and self-adjusting seal [10-9] into gun body.
■ Insert and thread packing screw and air piston rod [10-7] into gun
body.
■ Attach trigger [10-6].
■ Grease air piston [10-3] with air piston spring [10-2] and air microme-
ter [10-4] with SATA gun grease (# 48173) and insert.
■ Press air micrometer [10-5] into gun body.
■ Screw in locking screw [10-2].
■ Insert spring and paint needle [10-1].
■ Screw adjustment screw [1-2] with counter nut [1-3] into gun body.
After assembly, set the material flow rate as instructed in Chapter 8.2.
9.6. Replacing the spindles of the round/flat fan control
Replacement is necessary if air escapes at the round/flat fan control or
adjustment of the fan pattern is no longer possible.
