Security Precautions

PRECAUTIONS
1 . Connect Unit only to 12Volt-feed, with negative-pole to the Ground.
2 . Do NOT install the Unit in positions which could compromise the driving security
3 . While driving, do NOT use the Display, to avoid Traffic-Violations and/or accidents. Use display only during parking process,
to observe the rear-camera.
4 . To drive securely, set Volume at a reasonable level so that noises, in relation with dangerous traffic situations, can still be heard.
5 . To avoid sparks or fire, never expose the Unit, and its related amplifier and speakers, to humidity or water.
6 . Before replacing the current-supply-fuse, always ask a professional person for advice. Inadequate fuses can damage the Unit
or cause fire.
7 . Important: immediately switch-off the Unit and send it to your Phonocar-Dealer, should any of the following situations occur:
a) no Audio on the Output b) no Picture on the Output c) water or objects have fallen into the Unit d) Smoke e) strange smells.
Attention
This Unit is a LASER CLASSE 1-product. All Commands and Procedures have to be attentively carried out as indicated in this
Instructions Manual. To avoid the risk of radiation, never open the Unit and never try to repair the Unit by yourself. Repairs have to
be carried out by qualified Personnel..
Laser Product
Wave Length: CD: 780 nm DVD: 650 nm
Laser-Force: no radiations can escape as long as all protections are observed and kept in place.
Remarks to CDs
• Damaged or dirty CDs can result in irregular sound-reproduction • Always handle CDs as shown in picture.
• Never touch the CD directly, but only the sticker • Never stick anything onto the CD • Do not expose CDs to direct sun or strong
heat sources • To clean CDs, always use a soft cloth and pass from the centre to the external edge.
• Never use Solvents like Trieline or alcohol • This Unit does NOT read 3"-CDs (8cm). Never introduce 3"-CDs or deformed CDs,
as the Unit might come into difficulty and not expel these CDs.
