MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE
NOTE: Before cleaning the machine, make sure the power
supply is off and unplugged.
1. MAIN BODY:
The machine is capable of producing negative ions and it
attracts a lot of dust particles. Use a dry cloth to clean the
inside of the machine. Use a feather duster to clean the air
vents, clean the outside with water.
2. FILTER:
Each filter has its own service period. The 'Pre-Filter' must be
cleaned once every 2 weeks. The Activated Carbon Filter is
to be changed every 1500hours. The HEPA filter is to be
changed whenever the filter paper turns black, or when it
makes a noise.
3. UV LIGHT TUBE:
The UV light tubes have a service period of 3-5 years, under
normal circumstances, do not remove the UV light, once
damaged, replace/purchase a new one from your local
retailer.
TROUBLESHOOTING
1. FAN SPEED DECREASED AND NOISE HAS INCREASED:
Too much dust has collected in the HEPA filter, blocking the air flow, please change the filter.
2. UV LIGHT, LONIZER NOT FUNCTIONING:
Might be caused by loose wiring or aging of electronic contract; or the UV light tube is damaged.
Please contact your retailer for servicing or change of the UV tube.
3. AIR FILTERING NOT EFFICIENT AND EMITTING FOUL SMELL:
Filters have surpassed its service period. Please replace new ones.
4. THE FILTER INDICATOR IS BLINKING:
The filter has reached the end of its service period as programmed by factory settings. Please
install new filter and press the "RESET" button.
5. IF ALL ABOVE SITUATIONS ARE FUNCTIONING PROPERLY, while fan is not spinning,
the wiring is probably damaged. Please return to retailer. Do not try to repair it.
