3 Installation of the SPC weighing system
3.1 Unpacking
Refer to Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 on the front pages.
− Remove the inner packing from the outer one.
Damage to the weight sensor
1 Handle the weight sensor with care. The sensor must not fall over.
2 Mount the foam protection (8) over the weight sensor (1).
3 Ensure that no liquid comes into contact with the weight sensor.
3.2 Mounting
Refer to Fig. 3 to Fig. 6 on the front pages.
Mounting the weight sensor (Fig. 3)
a) Put the weight sensor on a stable surface and use the foam protection if the sensor is not fixed.
b) Mount the weight sensor with 4 screws M3 on a mounting plate.
Mounting the electronic unit (Fig. 4)
Damage to the electronic unit
1 Observe the minimum distances resp. the correct mounting position, see Fig. 4a/4b.
2 Ensure that no liquid comes into contact with the electronic unit.
