Extrac on forces of the wall plugs:
In the following chart, you can find the extrac on
forces of wall plugs expressed in Newton (N) per fixing
screw. The values refer to the assembly on non-cracked
concrete (C20/25)

The extrac on forces express the force necessary to extract a screw
from the wall. Here it will not be dis nguished if the screw comes out
of the wall with the plug, if the screw or the masonry breaks.
The extrac on forces declare how strongly screws and / or plugs can
be ver cally strained. The fixing material must be determined on the
basis of the moun ng surface, the kind of assembly and the extrac -
on forces.
The awning has a wind resistance class 2 and must be
retracted in case the wind force is higher than 5. The
following chart explains the classes and shows the wind
speed and its effects.

Instruc ons for the assembler and the user:
All the opera ng instruc ons, assembly instruc ons as well as adjust-
ment instruc ons of the manufacturer of the motor, of the switcher
and of the control must be given to the user with a guide.
He must be comprehensively informed about the safety informa on
and user instruc ons of the awning. Failure to observe this informa-
on and incorrect opera on may cause damage to the awning and
accidents. The instruc ons must be kept and must be handed to the
new owner in case of the awning is given to a third. According to the
knowledge of the local condi ons and of the executed assembly, the
installa on company declares to the user if the wind resistance class
indicated by the manufacturer has been achieved in mounted con-
di on. If not, the installa on company must document the actually
achieved wind resistance class.
The user and the assembler shall be responsible for proper func o-
ning of the wind monitoring system and its regular check and func on
monitoring. In case of storm damage occurred in spite of wind mo-

the winter.
Care and maintenance:
The awning is basically maintenance-free. All aluminium parts have
a high-quality powder coa ng, as well as the screw connec ons of
galvanised steel. We advise to clean the awning every 6 weeks with a
damp cloth. The awning cloth has a high-quality coa ng and is there-
fore suitable for outside use.
If the awning cloth becomes wet by rain, nothing will happen. The
awning cloth may be rolled up wet, too. However, in this case, we
advise to roll it out again and let it dry when it does not rain anymore.
We advise for the cleaning a solu on of laundry detergent and a so
brush. You can achieve good results in case of stubborn stains also
with a rubber. Never clean by means of a high-pressure device, becau-
se it damages the waterproofing.
Important consumer informa on:
Awning covers are high-performance products. However, limits to
their perfec on are set by environmental protec on requirements
and with the current state of technology. Certain phenomena in the
fabric, which some mes are subject of complain, are possible in spite
of sophis cated manufacture and processing technology.
Such phenomena do not diminish the value and the usability of the
awning. To prevent irrita on, we would like to expressly point out the
following proper es, within the scope of consumer awareness:

Bending folds
They originate at the moment of the manufac-
ture and when the sun protec on fabric is fol-
ded. A dark line, which originates because of
the folding of the fibre, may become visible in
back light par cularly in case of bright colours
(Light refrac on). (Img. 1)
Waviness in the seam and length area
It can occur in the side seams, in the vicinity of the seams and in the
centre of the lengths. The cover is laid double on the seams. This
results in different rolling diameters.
The tension that arises due to the folding arms and the drooping of
the roller tube and/or the front profile may enhance these effects.
Waviness can originate if a water pocket forms during heavy rain.
